22 countries including Greece, Canada & Australia – 120 delegates!

The Symposium was hosted by the Chinese Association of Natural Science Museums and was jointly organized by the China Science and Technology Museum and the Shanghai Science and Technology Museum. The decision was made to hold this Symposium every two years.

Pan Art Connections Inc. participated in the first international symposium on the development of Natural Science Museums under the Belt and Road Initiative (BRISMIS) which was held in Beijing and Shanghai from November 27th to 30th, 2017. The objective was to foster closer relationships between science and natural museums of countries along the Old Silk Road.

Prior to the Symposium, 12 members from 12 different science institutions in countries along the routes of the Belt and Road, among which Mr. Paul Firos, partner at Pan Art Connections, Inc. and founder of the Herakleidon Museum in Athens Greece, had jointly made up a core team drafting the Beijing Declaration, a common prospect about further cooperation and development in the future.
