Pan Art Connections announces its current and upcoming Exhibition Program for 2021

The art world has faced unprecedented challenges due to the pandemic. While most of the museums remained closed physically, they had managed to keep their audience engaged, by making use of all available digital tools, providing their content remotely. We congratulate them for their tireless efforts!!! Now, they are preparing for the post-Covid era. Where conditions already permit, many exhibition venues have begun to open their doors to the public. It’s wonderful to know that our clients across the globe are programming exhibitions again and showing continued faith in our services.

Pan Art Connections is thrilled to announce its 2021 exhibition program:

Keith Haring: Radiant Gambit │ On view until May 16, 2021
World Chess Hall of Fame, Saint Louis MO, USA
“The World Chess Hall of Fame is honored to present the art of Keith Haring in this exhibition, which includes work spanning the entirety of his career,” said WCHOF Chief Curator Shannon Bailey. “Haring’s influence, even though he passed away over 30 years ago, is still prevalent to this day. He believed art was for everybody, just as the World Chess Hall of Fame believes chess is for everybody.” The exhibition includes a never-before-seen private collection of Haring’s works and photographs of the artist, bespoke street art chess sets from Purling London and newly-commissioned pieces by Saint Louis artists, all paying homage to the late icon.

The Imaginative Worlds of M.C. Escher │ On view until June 6, 2021
Columbia Museum of Art, Columbia SC, USA
A consummate boundary-pusher and arguably the most famous printmaker of the modern era, Maurits Cornelius Escher (1898–1972) used his work to challenge perspectives, deftly exploring the relationships between art and science, reality and illusion, chaos and order, and logic and absurdity. Visitors will see his best-known prints as well as lesser-known works, spanning his entire career from his earliest print to his final masterpiece, and also get a glimpse into the artist’s process with a woodblock study and lithographic stone.

Toulouse Lautrec and the Belle Époque │ On view until May 23, 2021
Polk Museum of Art and Florida Southern College, Lakeland FL, USA
Featuring more than 225 works, the exhibition offers visitors remarkable insider access to the world of Post-Impressionist artist Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec, one of the greatest masters in the history of art. This large-scale exhibition aims to transport audiences back to France and into the so-called “Belle Époque,” or “Beautiful Age,” of late 19th century Paris.

Keith Haring: Radiant Vision │ On view from May 29, 2021 – September 6, 2021
Fenimore Art Museum, Cooperstown NY, USA
Presenting an extensive collection of lithographs, silkscreens, drawings on paper, and posters describing the full arc of Keith Haring’s short but prolific career. Visitors will instantly recognize seminal images like “Radiant Baby”—images that permeated American culture in the 1980s, became emblematic of the time, and are powerful examples of how Haring fought for change, using art as a platform for activism. The exhibition features over 100 works from a private collector as a tribute to this iconic artist and his dedication to social messaging and the betterment of youth worldwide.

Art of Pop-Pop of Art, Bob Dylan Original Drawn Blank Series │ On view from June 11, 2021 – September 29, 2021
Messukeskus Expo and Conventional Centre, Helsinki, Finland
Presenting the work of the most influential artist of all time, Bob Dylan as a visual artist. He began his journey in art in the 1960s. He paints mostly from life, stating: “I’m pretty much interested in people, histories, myth, and portraits; people of all stripes.” The exhibition features the original Drawn Blank sketches date from 1989 to 1992. Dylan explains that he drew them as a way of relaxing and refocusing his mind while touring America, Europe, and Asia.

Art of Pop-Pop of Art, Andy Warhol Posters │ On view from June 11, 2021 – September 29, 2021
Messukeskus Expo and Conventional Centre, Helsinki, Finland
The world’s largest Andy Warhol poster exhibition will contain around 120 of Warhol’s framed and museum-quality original posters from the 1960s, 70s and 80s, with covers for books, magazines and albums, rare collectibles, along with dozens of editions of Interview magazine published by Warhol.

Tampere-Talo, Talo, Finland
The Tampere-Talo Hall will host the poster art of Keith Haring (1958-1990), a famous American artist. Visitors will have the opportunity to admire all aspects of the artist: his original works and posters covering his entire career. The exhibition features more than 100 works and also some rare pieces.
