In two weeks, the Allentown Art Museum opens its highly anticipated exhibit of prints and posters by French Post Impressionist Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec.
On Sunday, May 12, get an introduction to “Toulouse-Lautrec and His World” by the man who knows the works most intimately, Paul Firos, the owner of the works. Firos is founder and director of the Herakleidon Museum in Athens, Greece, where the show originated.
Firos will present a multimedia pogram introducing the collection. He believes that a little bit of cultural context goes a long way in helping views relate to the spirit of the art.
